SPLITBOARD DAY AOSTA VALLEY 2023

The snow was not long in coming this year and we are ready to welcome you here in the Gran San Bernardo valley for the SPLITBOARD DAY AOSTA VALLEY, an unmissable event for enthusiasts and for those who want to discover and get closer to the splitboard world.
A proven team of professionals will accompany you during these two days through curiosities, practical advice and images: Ettore Personnettaz, Luca Spoladore, Luca Bastia, Leonardo Patrucco, Emanuele Rua, Mirko Boccadoro (HSriders) and Nicola “Tux” Chanoux.

Those who participate will have the opportunity to try the splitboards of some of the best international brands on Sunday:

SPLITBOARD BOOKING

The test boards will be distributed subject to availability by sending an email directly to Ettore (info@freeridealliance.com) providing the following data: gender, height, weight, number of soft boots, goofy or regular stance.
The supplied material includes everything you need with the exception of telescopic poles. However, it will be possible to rent additional splitboard boards by always contacting Ettore thanks to the collaboration with the SWITSHOP store in Aosta.

PARTICIPATION-REGISTRATION

Those who intend to register for the event must always communicate by email their splitboard technical level (beginner / intermediate / advanced) and the snowboard technical level (1 beginner, 2 intermediate, 3 advanced), this in order to form specific groups for the exit on Sunday.

Those who are not equipped must also communicate their data to book the available splitboard tests. Those who want to can only participate in the typical dinner because the Splitboard Day is also a meeting point for all freeride and mountain enthusiasts.

SUNDAY TEST ITINERARY

The itinerary will be chosen based on the level of the riders (beginner / intermediate / advanced) to
allow everyone to test according to their abilities.

SAFETY

All participants must equip themselves with the Artva-Shovel-Probe self-rescue KIT (if necessary, contact us to rent it).

PRICES EVENT PARTICIPATION:
€ 20 Registration will include a special dedicated gift and some gadgets and products
kindly offered by Levelgloves, Megazinco, PLP-Custom Snowboards and Les Bières
du Grand-Saint-Bernard.

16.00 In-depth analysis of the evolution of Freeride through films, stories and experiences

17.00 Assignment of splitboard test boards

17:30 Presentation of the production and news of PLP-CUSTOM SNOWBOARDS
